Tuckahoe Dive Team

We hope you join us in Summer 2026! Registration is open!

The Tuckahoe Flying Tigers Dive team were Division 5 Champions in the 2025 Northern Virginia Swimming League (NVSL). The team will compete in Division 4 during Summer 2026. NVSL sponsors competitive swimming and diving events among Northern Virginia community swimming pools. The NVSL originated in 1955 and included only swimming. In 1961, the late Wally Martin of Tuckahoe brought diving to NVSL making Tuckahoe one of the charter teams for both swim and dive.

The Flying Tigers have been honored to receive our Division's NVSL Sportsmanship Award in 2021-2025! We welcome you to come meet us and join us for a fun summer of dive team activities. We hope you join us in Summer 2026!

**New Summer 2026** Flying Cubs introduction to diving for our littlest tigers! 

Can your 6 and under child swim the width of the dive well and climb out of the pool by themselves? Are they interested in learning how to go off the diving board in a safe environment? Join our new Flying Cubs offering this summer! 

Can my child participate in Tuckahoe Dive Team, Swim Team and/or Tennis Team?
Yes! We welcome Tuckahoe members ages 7-18 (as of June 1) to join dive! (And those 6 and under for the Flying Cubs.) We have many divers on multiple Tuckahoe teams! See our 2026 Practice Schedule to see how these team practices can align.

As a part of the Tuckahoe Flying Tigers Dive Team, your diver can:

• Build self-confidence by learning new athletic skills
• Learn to celebrate personal successes and deal with personal disappointments
• Make new and lasting friendships
• Learn the value of teamwork by being part of a team that spans all age groups
• Practice good sportsmanship and leadership skills
• Have fun at practice, Fun Fridays and team activities!
