Tuckahoe Dive Team

Shannon Eagan loves her Flying Tigers and joined Tuckahoe as Head Dive Coach in Summer 2022. Shannon has previously served as Assistant Dive Coach at James Madison High School, Greenwich Family YMCA, Northeastern University and Boston College. Six months into her first head coaching position with Suncoast Diving in Largo, Florida, Shannon was named Host and Meet Director of the Year for the 1998 US Diving Junior National Championships. Shannon later joined the Elite Coaches training program at the US Diving Training Center in Indianapolis. Throughout her career, Shannon has coached numerous NCAA and Olympic Trials qualifiers, and more than 25 US Junior and Senior National competitors. Shannon earned her Master's Degree in Sports Psychology at West Virginia University, while serving as head diving coach in the Big East, Division I program. Shannon comes from the highly successful Next Generation Diving team, winners of the 2008 YMCA National Championships, Norwalk's first ever YMCA National Championship in any sport.

Chris Douglas joined the Tuckahoe coaching staff in 2023 and currently serves as Head Coach for the Tuckahoe Winter Dive program and Co-Head Coach for the Summer Tuckahoe Dive Team. In his youth, Chris dove for Bill York (York Dive Club) and then Roland MacDonald (Patriot Dive Club). He competed against some of the top divers in the country at multiple Junior Olympic Nationals, notably placing 5th at the 2001 nationals in Indianapolis. He is a multiple-time NVSL All-Star winner and the former head coach at Rolling Hills Swim Club from 2003 to 2005.

Lucy is a rising college junior who dives with the Bryant University Bulldogs and majors in biology on the premed track. Lucy was a class of 2024 graduate from Madison High School where she dove for 4 years and was captain for 2 years. Lucy has been diving since she was 7 years old. This is Lucy's 5th year coaching the Tuckahoe Flying Tigers and we are pumped for her return Summer 2026!

Leah is a graduating senior at Madison High School and has been on her high school dive team for 4 years and has been diving since 5th grade. This is Leah's 3rd summer coaching the Tuckahoe Flying Tigers. She has also assisted with coaching Tuckahoe's winter dive sessions during both the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years. We are thrilled to welcome back Leah this summer!

Connor was a five-year member of the Tuckahoe Flying Tigers and previously dove with the Meridian High School dive team for 4 years, qualifying for States each year. He is currently attending the University of North Dakota to pursue his dream of becoming a pilot. This will be Connor's 3rd year coaching the Tuckahoe Flying Tigers. He also assisted in coaching the winter dive session at Tuckahoe during the 2024-2025 school year. We are excited to have Connor back for the summer of 2026!
